This guy’s going to be at #party’s #sketch show tonight, #magnettheater 7:30. Will you? (at Magnet Theater)
“I felt like the teaching and the culture of the place were important. We learned all these great values from improv and from Del, these of ideas of ‘yes and’ and ‘make each other look good’, and the idea of group mind, and truth, and artistry. To be able to start a theater and adopt that in your culture, the way you run things and not just on stage, to me, had a lot of potential and would be a great experiment to make—it’s such a creative resource, what else can you do from it? I saw Magnet as the potential of, take whatever we think is good from other theaters and other experiences, but then experiment and come up with new ways of doing stuff.”
An interview with the Magnet Theater owners and founders, Armando Diaz, Ed Herbstman, and Alex Marino.
