Actress/Comedienne Lucia Brizzi finds herself with a less-than-satisfactory local theater review. So she lives, learns and deals with it, the I-talian way.

Part of the Magnet Theater’s FLICK Showcase!
Congratulations to this month’s FLICK winners Dave Thunder and Jon Bander, the creators of Inception Hanukkah. This is good work - I don’t think I’ve laughed this hard out loud while at work ever.
The Magnet’s Pilot Workshop program gives advanced students and performers a chance to share their vast knowledge of improv form/technique and the like. This weekends workshop will be taught by none other than Jon Bander (Phooka). It’s only $10 and it is the perfect way for both beginner and advanced students alike to further hone their craft.
If you find yourself denying your impulses or playing a canvas for your scene partner’s idea, this workshop is for you. Politeness makes you a great person and a really bad improviser. Building a scene together requires two people. Students will learn to make strong choices and hold onto them so that both players are building the scene – and saving it. I promise. Prerequisite: Level One or equivalent experience.
